I am from India, and i remember somewhere in late 80's, my uncle had got the video cassetes of this drama from Gulf. Although back then i did not understand the philosophical aspect of the drama, but the comedy part of it has been etched in my conciousness. Mamu and TImmy 's antics are always remembered by one and all here. Also, these drama's were a slight window we indians had off the Aam pakistani...

love this drama...one of the few ever green dramas...

Very natural acting. True portrayal of the cultural decency, societal simplicity, neighbourhood awareness, community living, elders respect and honesty of those times - infact its only been 20 plus years or so to this drama [not too long ago if we think about it, i.e. in comparison to like 60 plus years of independence!..:-)].

Wonder when will there be peace again (in the city/country). Ahhh!!
