  • better ability to draw means better ability to express and explain what's inside your head.

  • Yes, many teams work together to get final design. Its not only a person who is creative in art and visualization gets the job done and it is basically an optimizing process till the product attains manufacturing feasibility. Hope this answers your question.

  • This is a great video but I would like to see on youtube the whole process of designing a product! I find so many videos showing drawings and renderings when the concept is what makes an object valuable! As a design student, I can tell you that from concept to finished model, it takes a lot more hard work than this shows. And although many teams work together any good course will teach you need to do all by yourself before you get to team work!

  • so nice

  • Industrial design is much more than great rendering, a big part of the word is research. You don't need to do "realistic" renders to share the ideas, most of the times is easy to let them know what you're thinking by basic sketches.

  • id like to replace him.... lol

  • @MrVendetta003 You can download them I am sure somewhere but better yet to buy them and let Oliver make a living, instead of engaging in piracy. You can buy his videos on Amazon. I own them and they were both less than 50 bucks.

  • WHER IS MY BABY?

  • @JAFrk but in saying that, drawing is an essential. being able to renders that pop will definitely help you gain respect and differentiate yourself from other designers. its good for impressing potential clients and increase your own value especially in a corporate and studio environment

  • product design is almost always a collaboration between designers. In USA, most studios put a heavy emphasis on process and research. ID is NOT just drawing pretty pictures and making sculptures. In the USA, its about bringing products to market considering demographics, processes and materials, ergonomics, problem solving, user testing etc. If you just want to draw all day, ID isnt the field for you. In the end clients want to see a product with market potential not a drawing

  • @VENUEATHENS transportation design is apart of industrial design
