The full circle appears on full frame sensors. Smaller sensors show the cropping, which is nice, too.

Good point, PineTreePictures! However, unless one wants absolute precision, achieved my measuring everything, including the crop (rather than eyeballing), the exact center may not line up with the "snap to" guides.

Thanks! To be fair, the glow can work well on occasion, depending on the image. This is just another option for those who may like a different look!

Hey, i'm sorta a beginner, but how do you get your picture to be like a full circle rather than have your camera crop it automatically?

Nice video. Another way to pinpoint the exact center of a document in Photoshop is to go View>Snap (make sure 'Snap' is checked in the popup menu). Then go View>Snap To>Guides. Leave the setting as is, and whenever you drag a new guide out into a document (vertically/horizontally from the ruler), the guide will "snag" very slightly as it reaches the center. Release the guide and it's aligned perfectly.
