  • The proverb thing..........

There is quite a lot of saying very similar, but starting with "The more you know - and the next one I think is the nicest, - the less you grow!

The more you know the less you grow! So you must know an awful lot Josie? Actually you have already proven that by telling us your tutor (was it) said you had a MD in you, as you did so well at University !

    Take care,

St Patricks Daay cards, usually have a picture of beer or wine on them!

  • The meaning and derivation and pronunciation of Fiach. This is a very old way back in time sort of name. And has changed very little.

    FIACHRA

    Gender: Masculine

    Usage: Irish, Irish Mythology

    Pronounced: FEE-akh-ra [key]

Derived from Gaelic fiach meaning "raven". In Irish legend Fiachra was one of the four children of Lir transformed into swans for a period of 900 years. This is also the name of the patron saint of gardeners, a 7th-century Irish abbot who settled in France.

    Take care
