There's a problem with having a gun and felling safe... And that's the other guy has one too so back to square one again... But that aside i'm not anti gun and couldn't imagine the USA without them! It's like us british not having tea and yellow teeth XD great vids btw :)

But you say the "lucky" people are the ones that live their life without needing them. "luck" implies a minority - and the vast vast majority of people live their life without the need for guns.
How many people die as a result of a gun? How often does that happen?
99.9/100 cases you having a gun would panic the criminal, causing a bigger risk to yourself/the others around you. This just doesn't make any sense to me.
