Actually there were quite a few houses on Truckee lane. The Dodd's lived up from us, The Spragues, and otheres that I can't remember their names. OUr home was really beautiful and sat right on the corner of Truckee Lane and I can't remeber. It was so hard to miss! LOL It had a white picket fence all the way aroudn about 15 acres.Triple-wide manufact. home, it wwas pretty big. If I dig, I know I could find some pictures.If I can find an old pic, I wil email it to ya.

Ahh, gotcha. About 9 in the morning, the water had receded enough that if you have a big truck, you could escape the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood. But *noooo*... I gotta be the only fucker in all of Fernley that doesn't have a truck. Only way in and out is Ricci Lane, and it was a foot deep. I wasn't exactly a victim, but it certainly did suck.

Hello,
I'm sorry for this flood happening to such a great town. I lived in Fernley in the 80's, even went to high school, the old high school. We lived on Truckee Ln.
I remember the canal very, very well and we used to go riding by it. And if my memory serves me right, it was not to far from our old house. It looked like some of your footage was around Truckee Lane and that area. It's been years since I've been there.
Really great footage by the way.

Not sure where Truckee Lane is... this is about a mile or two up Farm District road. Back in the 80's, there was nothing up there. Looks like suburbia now though...
