Firing up the fans of my DIY growbox right after I got the wires connected. The wiring will be tidied up later. This setup is just to see that everything works.

  • @SpooKiiEE I cut the connectors off, stripped red and black and connected them to a screw terminal. The sensor wires I just let fly.

  • stupid question: why do you need fans for a grow box?

  • @TheRealBrandyn I don't think the question is stupid at all. I have the fans for a couple of reasons: The stems grow stronger when they are bashed by the wind, to replenish CO2 and to keep the lamp cooler if I ever switch to an HPS lamp.

  • @PainDealer86 nice good luck

  • nice check out mine

  • @PainDealer86 Looking good. Like your fan placement! A lot of people overlook cooling. I almost used DC fans but decided for ease of wiring to go with the AC units. Very well thought out dude.
