Esperanza is the Truth! But I want to know why some of the comments on this thread are comparing Esperanza to Alicia Keys... I know the answer and it annoys the hell out of me. They are both Mixed African American and Euro American. PEOPLE..PLEASE ANALYZE BEYOND COLOR AND RACE!!! The reality is that there is no comparison as they are practicing different genre's. Get it? Good. Why are you not comparing her to a white male jazz artist in his 20's... Pathetic

Esperanza is way pass Alicia Keys there is no comparison.... I mean honestly who doesnt play piano Esperanza sings ,scats , and plays the double bass she has A.keys beat by a long shot and she speaks spanish she a freakin monster.

Well, they play different types of music. I think Alicia Keys was trained in the classical piano realm. I'm not sure if playing the bass is any harder than playing the piano. All I know is that both of them are talented and BEAUTIFUL!!!

Alicia Keys attended Professional Performing Arts School and graduated at 16. She later attended Columbia University. Don't forget Alicia is just as talented and Vice Versa. I honestly think Esperanza has the potential to be one of the GREATEST and most definantly pass Alicia Keys up when its all siad and done. But Alicia is far from a gimmick, I seen her live and she plays the piano brilliantly!!
