Man, get the fuck outta here with that noise. Alicia Keys is a Pop/RnB singer who plays some piano on the side....It's a gimmick...Esperanza got a scholarship to Berkeley for playing upright bass. Plus, it's very rare to see a TALENTED female upright player...Rare to see ANY female upright players really... Man, I hope she DOESN'T go all mainstream...Stick to the Jazz, Esperanza!

with all due respect to Alicia, and to You .. I think that Esperanza is a different type of artist.. less focused on the commercial side of art.. at least that's what -- I think -- her compositions say ...
