  • Ive had a crappy set for a while and Ive decided to upgrade. Mostly for practice. I play for my church and school. Nothing fancy.

  • @Aaronadobo I've been really impressed with this last run of Epics that've come out of Ludwig. That's the direction I'd go right now if it were for me.

  • This or the Ludwig epic Funk?

  • @Aaronadobo I'd need more info to make that call, what type of music/use?

  • Is this kit better then the Gretsch Catalina Club rock?

  • @tobiasen76 Far better; the maple shells on this are warmer sounding than the mahogany rock kit, and the tone quality is far superior.

  • proud owner of the 5 pc configuration-10,12,16....replace the stocks with any 2 ply batter of choice nd u hve a envious kit!!!!!!!!

  • @Jazet21 It would be silly to use muffle rings on this kit. The point is that it has a great resonant sound. If you wanted a muffled down kit with no sustain, buy a Pearl vision and some moon gels.

  • Does a drumset like this eliminate the use for muffler rings?

  • why does he have a mic on
