Hamilton Island was perfect, the weather was warm and sunny. The islands around Hamilton are beautiful and the best place to see them was Passage Peak, the highest point on Hamilton Island. It's a steep hike but well worth it.
The trip to Whitehaven was great but the turning tides give the best results for photos. High tide is still lovely. We did get some nice photos and went to a beach parallel with Whitehaven. That was a nice change.
Food at the local Tavern was so good, we kept going back. Their fish and chips and lamb cutlets were perfect.
