This is a video i put together using clips off of www.armycadethistory.com it shows camp vernon located in British Columbia there are over 1500 army cadets that go to camp vernon ever year. This was my first attempt to create a video using video clips enjoy.
Special Thanks to Francois Arsenault for supplying and letting me use the clips.

my grandson is almost 12 and wants to join so we went on line to show him what's out there and found this video---in 1967 I was 16 yrs old and part of the centennial tri service cadet tattoo---we trained 6 weeks in Vernon and then put on shows in various towns in thhe okanagon, lower mainland, and the island--fantastic opportunity for kids

I'm with 172 Clarington Royal Canadian Air Cadets, but I'm thinking of transfering to Army Cadets in september. Is it worth it?

@u452u It depends on what you're into, Army Cadets focus a lot on Expedition and marksmen, it also depends on the kind of corps you're going to join and their resources, some corps are well funded and have amazing staff while others can be the total opposite so certain programs like a marksmen team wont be available but you can still do the marksmen portion at Camp. Also if you've reached a rank and certain training level in the air cadets you may be able to "Transfer" that rank to Army Cadets.
