No kidding... one of the craziest things I've done in my life was to fly to LA to see their reunion show... you could really tell how much people love Redd Kross. They were super nice and their show was amazing!! Anyhow, you're cool man, take care and cheers from Osaka haha!

I checked and I didn't recognize that "Eric's Trip" shirt and I'm very familiar with the band and Rick's artwork... I loved the Redd Kross Frightwig cover (Crazy World).
Would be nice if he liked Eric's Trip though...

Holy crap you read my mind! Indie used to be so varied, there was no specific style or look. Killdozer was every bit as indie as Galaxie 500 & both were glorious! Now everyone goes for the same souless, super weak, jangley sound, and bands take their own irony so seriously that it loses it's effect. It sucks how ever since 2001 'indie' and 'hipster' became so entwined with one another. Pretentious attitudes and sub-par music SHOULD NOT equal indie cred. There is still some good sh*t though.
