This is more common than you might think and so easy to fix. If you've ever been driving and got your feet wet with smelly water this video is for you. In only a few minuets you can have it solved, watch the video to see how.

  • My anti-theft system is malfunctioning and stalls my '96 Pontiac Grandam when I try to start it. I have had the ignition cyclinder replaced and the instrument cluster replaced and after $771 and 4 mechanics my Pontiac Grandam is till not working and no one knows why! My A/C drains on my foot sometimes and I am thinking maybe this could have corroded something or it causing a short in something related to the antitheft device, what do you think?

  • @alexgilchrist1 It's possible that is the case but you won't know till you clear the drain and even then if the effected component is damaged just getting rid of the cause may not fix the problem.

  • Eric, I have a chevy truck 89 and I just spend $1,200 to replace the entire A/C system. I noticed when I have the A/C on I can see some condensation under the dashboard leaking water. Small drops though...can this be a sign of A/C clogged drain? any help will be appreciated.

  • @cesarin76 Possibly but it could also be a leak if the case is not sealed correctly you'll have to get up under the dash and have a look to know for sure.

  • THANKS!

  • lmao AHHH IT PEED ON ME

  • @InferiorThanYou I don't remember half the crap I think I know. To really learn this stuff you need to do it a lot, books just get you started. Thats not going to stop me from writing one however, see Episode 1.

  • @EricTheCarGuy Thanks for clearing that up. Where can I learn all what you know? What books do you recommend? College would be a no for now. I could however buy a cheap car to learn on. But what do you recommend I read first? Anything particular?

  • @InferiorThanYou Evap drains don't emit water just the AC drains.

  • Does the e vap drain emit water in a pretty good size like the a/c drain? I have what appears to be the a/c drain or e vap drain that is open and emitting water to the ground in the amount of around a few liters I would estimate.
