Joe: (sitting on the couch)
Dem: (walks up to him) (yawns) im gonna go to bed but, uhm, you might wanna watch these. (hands him a DVD)
Joe: (looks at it; looks back up but demi is already half way up the stairs) (walks over to the DVD player and puts it in)
The Screen says: Amy's first christmas with Uncle Jack, Aunt Dallas, and Mommy Demi.
(changes to a shot of amy sitting on demi's lap)
Jack: (holding the camera) this is part two of the Jack files. im here with Demi Lovato, proud new mother. and how are you feeling today Miss Lovato?
Dem: (giggles) im feeling great jack! (smiles)
Jack: (zooms in on amy) and how about my little neice? is she excited for Christmas??
Amy: (1 month old) (makes a little noise)
Dem: awww (smiles)
Jack: (zooms back out)
Dem: (grabs a present and starts opening it)
Amy: (smiling)
Dem: (opens it up and pulls out really adorable pink footie pajamas) oh my gosh! these are adorable!]

Joe: (smiles to himself)
Jpov: seeing demi open the presents with amy made me happy. seeing both of them happy, made me happy. even though i knew she was hurting on the inside knowing i wasnt there and not knowing if i was gonna come back i was proud of her. proud of her because she knows she didnt want to show amy that she was upset.
- - On the DVD - -
Dem: (opens up a few more presents) (opens one that has an adorable pink stuffed bear) awww how cute is this Dal!!
Dallas: oh my gosh! It absolutely adorable! (smiles)
Dem: (hands it to amy)
Amy: (her face lights up when she sees the bear)
Dem: (smiles proudly)
Jack: (zooms in on Demi and Amy) look at them (smiles) (flips the camera towards him) what a happy family!
Dem: (sighs) yea...minus one.
Dal: Dems! Don't you dare!
Dem: (quickly gets herself together)

Joe: (feels a little guilty)
(watches the whole video) (after it's over, walks upstairs into demi & his' room) (knocks quietly on the open door to let her know he's there) dems?
Dem: (turns around) (smiles) hi.
Joe: (sits next to her and puts his arm around her in a sort of side hug) I'm so sorry baby (kisses her hair) I really am. I feel do guilty that I hurt you so
much.
Dem: (a little shocked) I didn't show it to you to make you feel guilty. I showed it to you so you could see amy and what happened.
Joe: I know, I know. But, I still feel guilty and I'm sorry. You went through alot dems, and you didn't deserve any of it. (kisses her hair again but, leaves his lips there) I love you so much and I'm sorry.
Dem: I love you too, and I forgive you (smiles)
Joe: (hugs her)
Dem: now, can we go to bed? We have a big day tomorrow.
Joe: sure (they both get in bed) (snuggles with demi) I love you (kisses her)
Dem: (smiles after the kiss) I love you too joe (snuggles her head into his bare chest)
