BBC is in fact funded by the license payers..BBC does not have sponsors!

BBC World Service is funded by FCO but its still editorially independent. The only people who refer to BBC Persian as Propaganda tool are the Government of Iran and its supporters which clearly you are one of them!

The only independent media is viewer-sponored media. BBC is not viewer-sponsored.

American domestic is mostly privately sponsored & owned but a lot of the money comes from weapons manufacturers with connections in & around Washington.

danmanjones - I don't need your history lesson, I'm fully aware of who did what! Have you even heard of BBC Persian? Do you even know the story behind it? Also BBC is free from both political and commercial influence and answers only to its viewers (NO such thing exist within American Media) For that reason Governments like Iran do their best to block BBC or BBC Persian (in Iran's case)from been broadcast to Iranian people.
