Crazy Armadillo Attacks Pitbull!

Who's chasing who? An armadillo goes on the offensive and attacks my poor little doggie!

The dog, on a 5m chain at the time, was seized by council officers shortly after the attack and was due to be put down yesterday. Two other dogs, of similar breed, remained at the property.

Sergeant Cam Taylor said the girl's parents were extremely distressed when he arrived.

"They were very upset. The mother was very shaken up and crying."

On Wednesday, a 3-year-old boy was badly bitten on the throat by a doberman-staffordshire-bull terrier.

@swimrobin Well duh "The dog, on a 5m chain at the time" - Gee I wonder what you would be like if you were chained. Of course, if you chain a dog (which is now being outlawed in most places) you make the dog territorial and aggressive. People that are that stupid deserve what they get and THEY should have been put down. A dog was killed because of their ignorance. It makes my heart ache.

All pitbulls should be put down: and their owners psychoanalysed.

There are plenty of much less aggressive breeds around.

A dog has to be trained to be vicious, they are not naturally so. I am an experienced trainer/ Blame the deed not the breed. Educate yourself!

Poor little doggie, my ass! dog stands, hmm 6 times or so, taller than prey, is jumping around and making a horrifying, booming noise. Not much choice left but TO counter-attack, and pray!

@swimrobin you are an IDIOT! there are no aggressive breeds -.- how the dog is depends on the owner.. if the owner is calm and nice with his pitbull, its going to be a great pet.

if the owner is a violent and stuff, the pitbull is going to be a danger to everyone.. people like you should be put down
