"Allegretto, A minor, 6/8 metre. After a recitative-style introduction, whose melody later return as an interlude, a cantabile solo enters on the Oboe, supported by a pizzicato bass. A more agitated middle section in the major is followed by the reprise of the oboe solo, now, however, with a more expansive bass part.
