Ride inside Mark Martin's #6 Valvoline Ford as cars crash all around him during the 1996 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, his hands steering and shifting feverishly to avoid the carnage and eventually come home with a 7th-place finish.

  • That was some damn good driving right there. He's 50 years old and he can still drive like that. That's amazing.

  • MARK IS DA BOMB!!!

  • MARK RULES!

  • GO MARKIE!!!!

  • In the 96, it was Robert Pressley. They had a few driver changes, including Schrader driving the Skoal Bandit. Haha, Harry Gant was my favorite. But you are right, Mark is a great driver!

  • Great driving. But if you notice the number 33 skoal bandit spinning in front. That was Harry Gant I believe so this video is from the 90's. Mark can still get it done though don't. Met him a couple of times and just a super nice person.

  • nice, who put that dislike, i hate them

  • wow he can drive

  • Ya know, with all these guys piling up wins and crazy performance stats these days I still think the more talented drivers out there are the ones that you very rarely see involved in a crash. Mark Martin, Jeff Burton, Bill Elliot, etc. This "take no prisoners and do anything to win" crap is getting old and its promoting less talent through the sport. There is a SKILL to loosening up a competitor WITHOUT spinning him out in order to win the race, but that skill is almost lost these days.

  • That's why he is still driving

  • Wreck Avoidance Win
