Pinal Mountain Foundation for Higher Education Awards Ceremony.wmv

Globe, Arizona: Scholarships were given out in a ceremony at the Gila Community College Pueblo campus Friday, by the Pinal Mountain Foundation for Higher Education (PMFHE). A total of 20 scholarships were awarded of which 14 came from PMFHE funding and 6 were funded by the following: The Elder Quality of Life Fund(1), Freeport McMoRan Copper(2), Carrissa Barcon Memorial Fund(1), Native American Book Fund(1), and Globe Shining Times Car Wash(1).
Scholarships are awarded twice each year(once each semester) by the PMFHE and other organizations at the Gila College Campus to students, who have demonstrated financial need and academic accomplishment at Gila Community College in previous semesters, for an amount totaling $8,500.00 this semester
