Sorry for the shoddy camera work in this video. Probably should have used a tripod for most of the hand-held shots, and should have used my laptop to make sure the shots of me were all set up appropriately. I was in a hurry to build it so I could get back online. :)

As always, I'm still planning to get back into making regular videos, I've just had too much on my plate for too long... My apologies, as usual.

@thisweekinlinux So can u please tell me Why u removed the AMD 2600 and not just add DDR ram to it, to put the Atom 1,8? I can't see no other reason besides the DDR3 rams.. because the processor is in the same level and in case u don't agree please tell me why! Cause i have the same 939 Amd Athlon 64 3500+ (2,2 Ghz) with 3Gb of DDR 400mhz ram right now STILL in my main box and i am still proud of it!

@lopbox well, the motherboard I pulled out wasn't working. The system was my sister-in-law's old one that she let fry in an electrical storm because she didn't have it on a surge protector. CPU/Motherboard had issues ever since, after I replaced the power supply. Thought I mentioned that in the video, but I must have forgotten. Oops!

Of course if it had been working appropriately, the newer board requires less power, produces less heat, and supports faster RAM and hard drives.

@gigaferz If you watch the video in lower quality, it would run alright. I've watched 360p youtube on it with no issues, but anything higher either wouldn't run or would run slowly.

@lopbox You really think an Athlon XP 2600+ is on the same level as the Atom D525 dual-core w/ HyperThreading? The Atom isn't very powerful, but it totally kills anything from the Athlon XP range. Maybe if it was an Athlon 64 you might be more accurate, but not an Athlon XP...

Interesting. How many Watts does it pull? Is it Intel integrated graphics? Do they have accelerated 3D support "out of the box" with Mesa?
