Mostly yellow and white.

That must have been extremely hard for the machine to distinguish between red and white.

You check the reflected light values off all the color bricks and use those to decide which bin.

so, umm..... ive been working on 1 o these, and....how do you get the light sensor (comes with it) to work?

How do you program what to do after the light sensor sees the reflected light?

You would use an if loop. When it sees a certain color it torns the pallet a certain # of degrees. This one is old and I havent been using mindstorms lately so I couldnt tell you off hand exacly what to do.
