Los Desterrados Sephardic Flamenco

Los Desterrados -- 'The Exiles' -- are a London sextet who have created their own radical, rousing and rootsy take on the ancient folk music of the Sephardic Jews.
As the Gypsy Kings reinvigorated flamenco and the Gotan Project
revitalised tango so Los Desterrados have brought vibrant new life to
Sephardic music. Fusing Spanish Flamenco and the fiery Gypsy melodies
of the Balkans and Greece, with the rhythms of Morocco and Turkey, Los
Desterrados have created a rootsy Mediterranean sound that is wholly
their own.
Featuring traditional instruments such as the cajón and
'oud with vocals in Ladino, the language of the Sephardic Jews, or
Hebrew, the unconventional arrangements and rousing rhythms Los Des
wield are heavily influenced by the music they've all grown up on as
native North Londoners - rock 'n' roll, jazz, folk, flamenco, funk and
soul.

@jesusperezamorano Tal vez no lo seas, pero no dudes que algo tienes. Después de todo muchos judíos conversos se mezclaron con los españoles y se perdió la pista a los linajes. Haz una lista de los apellidos de tus abuelos, bisabuelos, tatarabuelos y de todos tus ancestros que puedas averiguar. Después busca cada uno de los apellidos en listas de apellidos sefardíes y posiblemente hallarás algunos. Aún así, debo aclarar que ni están todos los que son, ni necesariamente son todos los que están.

Las listas de la gente que se embarco a America a conquistarla en los 1500's, muestran que eran en un 80% "marranos" o sea, conversos.

La gran mayoria de los "clase" que ayudaron a Cortez a vencer a los Aztecas eran tambien conversos, ejemplo: vean las 3 fundaciones de la Cd. de Monterrey. Estudien, lean, instruyanse, que en este mundo los ignorantes gritan y gritan y nadie los escucha... saludos a todos Shalom! שלום
