for some reason, i seriously lolled at the end.
Me: YOU PUT A TREE IN THE BED! YOU FAIL AT LIFE!

From the moans at 6:51 I doubt she was raped, sounded like she was enjoying it. I think the wolves are life experiences (harsh lessons, or stupid mistakes) and the girls dying are actually stages of their lives ending or "dying" in this case, Carmen was desperate for love & gave it up to the first man that was willing to take it, but he just used her and left. In a literal sense, he hacked her up and burned her, but in another sense he forever destroyed her innocence/virginity. Just my thoughts.

the lumberjack is the wolf ????????!!!

I think that maybe the path represents the path to adulthood, and that the "safe" path is doing what your told and the dangerous path is all the things that are more taboo. She's too young to be drinking and flirting with older men. Maybe they did do it, but she realized after she was too young, and wasn't ready. I think it's their innocence that dies, not them. It feels more like they're sinking into what they've done at the end. But that's just me.

this game scares me!
-
she was raped, hacked into pieces ( the slash on the wall ) and burned

I think it was more about a loss of innocence. The moans sort of indicate that it was more of a consensual thing, so I think that part that "died" in Carmen was her innocence.

Does anyone notice she puts her hands to her face at 7:52??

there's a lot more deep meaning in this game then just short minded hormonal deduction.
All I can say in response is....
*busts out into song* Heeee's a lumberjack and he's okay. He works all night and he sleeps all day!

I bet half or more of the reviewers who said this game was about rape played Carmen and stopped after her death. =/
