I love this!!

Margaret is the only one who can sing these songs!! I wish other people would not try and sing them because they ruin the songs!! RIP MARGARET SINGANA!!!
-
one of the best songs ever written, I love everything about South Africa, the music, the people, and the culture, as a young kid growing up in Nigeria, I remember watching Ipi tombi perform at the Festac 77 in Lagos Nigeria (1977), they stole the show, together with Miriam Makeba, RIP Margaret Singana, and Miriam Makeba.

Just as She could do this song is great thx for adding it

I saw that show in '74 in London. In 1976-77 I worked in South Africa for my studies for 3 months near Tzaneen than I went back to Europe. After finishing my studies I moved to South Africa because this continent goes into your blood and you can not get it out.

I, a white American, taught in West Africa for nearly 5 years, and fell in love with Africa. The play Ipi Ntombi was so popular in Britain in the late 70s. It is such a celebration of the African spirit. Woza! Bayete!
