giant ferry wave (at 2:08) on Lake Champlain

Giant wave that the ferry hit on my way to work. I take ferry everyday and this was the second biggest I've ever seen. I was about six rows back and it drenched my windshield for about 5 seconds. It's kind of choppy because I was using a camcorder on my phone.

Was this the Plattsburgh or Essex crossing?

I was on the Essex ferry during Hurricane Bob. A guy trying to take pictures was almost swept overboard - he lost his camera.

I did this crossing once and although a bit choppy we didn't expect the giant wave that went over every car and killed the ferry engine. They finally got the ferry going again but we had to go backwards into Burlington from when the wave hit. I guest they could stil reverse.
