  • Glad you like it. I'm pretty certain that Periwig has never been available to purchase. The best way to see it, If you ever get a chance, is to see it projected on 35mm. You can watch the whole film online at atom films.

  • i think it can be bought (production has stopped, so it'll have to be eBay) it could be somewhere on the net, or a fileshare program. i have asked my dad and he says he'll ask around for a copy

  • hedge1992: how do i get the whole video????

  • "tim burton uses them a lot"

    mckinnon & saunders i mean

  • i could probably get an english copy of this, my dad helped make it. he is an employee of 'Mckinnon & Saunders' animation company (seriously, check). i was at the premiere when it was first made about 1999 i think. i'll ask, and if my dad has one or can have one, i'll upload.

Mckinnon & Saunders have also worked on:

    mars attacks

    corpse bride

the sandman (relatively unknown, like this)

bob the builder (UK only i think)

james & the giant peach (i think)

tim burton uses them a lot.

  • This is an amazing animation. I have seen it on TV. It is hauntingly captivating. One has to watch it to understand it. If I say what happens it will spoil it.

  • it would be really good if someone posted a high english quality version of the film on youtube *cough hint*

  • the film rate seems to be so much better on youtube then it is on atom films? thats wierd... the film looks so different lol

  • If you would really like a copy, I can try to find a place to upload it for you. I have a copy.

  • That's the way I currently watch it on a regular basis (via Atom Films). I'm just worried it's going to disappear and here I'll be - no Periwig Maker.

A friend of mine tracked down a european dvd with a collection of shorts and I *think* it's on there. I was just hoping to locate a reliable U.S. source to purchase it. Thanks for getting back to me, back to Atom Films I go :).
