This video demonstrates the system described in the paper, "DTAM: Dense Tracking and Mapping in Real-Time" by Richard Newcombe, Steven Lovegrove and Andrew Davison for ICCV 2011.

This is the first single passive camera system to demonstrate a complete dense 6DOF tracking/dense mapping pipeline for non parametric scene reconstructions.

  • @xamox From the paper: This demo was run on a commodity NVIDIA GTX 480 GPU hosted by an i7 quad-core CPU. Video: 640x480 at 30Hz 24-bit color from a Point Grey Flea2 camera
