Ain't no surprise... Ballet is not so far away from a martial art: a martial art is a fighting arts which include a code of practices&traditions use to train...
Ballet include many practices and tradition, it is also codified (Bourrée?Do ya mean drunk? Hell No!) like any traditional martial arts. It also teach some discipline, coordination of the human body, ask for strenght and flexibility.
The only difference is the goal: ballet is a dance...But so does Capoeira,Changquan&Hopak...

you know what all of these people who are in mma are in good physical condition better then most of the people in the USA today if he were to go against JET LI, Jet would kick his ass if you have seen people at the diamond nat. they are way faster in person. i know 12 year old kids who are faster then he may likes to dance but skill he has nothing i'm not saying he's a sissy but he should just stay in dance. he should have joined when he joined ballet. i think he would do the best in WUSHU tho

i can't see that ballet has any uses in mma because you're getting the crap beat out of you can't do anything when your on the ground getting hit by a guy that knows how break limbs you can't do anything stylish unless you want to kick him in the face.
