@seansuth So what your saying is that i can't maintain a car. HMMMMMMM. I guess all the oil changes, parts and accessories ive bought it was abusing it. Interesting.

I do agree - por maitenance does kill a car. But from a personal view, I don't believe it with Tempo's or Topaz's. Why? My parents owned a 1991 Ford Tempo, lasted 10 yrs. We maintained it, many suspension repairs (struts) and OIL SPRAYED, it still rotted. Scrapped it, had given to us a 1989 Mercury Topaz. We were putting money into a hunk of junk every month. Brakes, bearings, suspension, etc It went to the wreckers too. Another fact: those were the only Ford products my family has ever owned.

we all have our special cars in our hearts, but your obsession with these cars seems kinda unhealthy lol

Hey man Check out my vids of my 89 topaz. she runs well and never has a problem. i maintain the SHIT outta her so she doesnt go south in a few years. 122k mi i wanna 5 spd for it the autos suck. gonna get her custom bumpers (not over the top crap shit ones) other cosmetic upgrades and resore her factory then upgrade the intake and injection systems. kinda do with it like a japo tin can but not to the point where it kills the integrity of the car. these are not meant for that :)

@ASS3464 My topaz V6 grey green wants to keep going too, it's got 215k km on it not sure what that is in miles.
Nicely put together. And not to be a dick but you're contributing to their death. Quit buying all of them and wrecking them. If you cant afford to fix all the ones you buy, quit buying them. Simple as that.

Really, ppl THINK the Tempo/Topaz badge was a bad car... But it all boils to how you treat it. Maintain it, and don't abuse it, it can last for a long time. Unfortunatly Tempo/Topaz was a cheap priced car, so a lot of red necks got them, they don't know how to maintain SHIT!
