  • Dr. Perricone is basically promoting the PALEO DIET! He's absolutely correct. Eliminate grains, and you reduce inflammation. You also get rid of leptins and other "anti-nutrients" (ie, toxins) which inhibit absorption of nutrients. The only reason people eat grains is because they are cheap, easy and addictive. They are not rich in nutrients like meat, fish, berries, eggs, fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts!
