  • I HAVE HEARD THAT. IF U HAVE TYPE #2 DIABETES. YOU MAY VERY WELL MIGHT NEED TO GET YOUR TESTOSTERONE LEVELS. I DON'T THINK THIS VID ADDRESSES THIS

  • WE NEED TO KNOW THE BEST WAY TO REVERSE METABOLIC SYNDROME, NOT JUST TREAT IT.

  • my reference for my comments, are the obesity epidemic is mets caused by a nutritional deficency? by stephanie seneff, she is a researcher at mit. she keeps a blog. just google stephanie seneff. she has other wonderful articles about adhd, alzhimers, etc. really good. I suggest reading them.

  • soulnik good suggestions. I would add more saturated fats to help absorb cal vita d etc more sunshine without sunscreen to produce vita d, your body will hoard what it doens't get, including fats, cal vita d and it takes fat cells to do that more you need more fat cells you need, you get fatter to handle the excess glucose due to metS.

more fat cells give you a buffer against excess glucose. also repeat insulin spikes do not cause metS. malnutrition does.

  • fat is a very bad way to "lower glycemic index" use fiber, that is, eat whole foods.

  • what studies are being sighted for this?

Everyone and their brother has an opinion, on these things but- as the saying goes: "assertions made without evidence may be dismissed without evidence."

BTW: foods that are VERY low on the glycemic index: proteins, fats.
