i have been on my own sort of quest for knowledge latley.. and this vid is a help to light my way.. I was raised as a JW and was baptised at the tender age of 13.. Huge mistake in hindsight.. i was disfellowshiped at the age of 18, drasticly changing the course of my life.. i am now 27 and it has taken me until now to pull the scales from my eyes..

Sometimes knowledge is painful, but it's far better to have truth, and live through reality, then to live in blissful ignorance.

Humans are like any other animal - we have predators and prey. JWs are prey. Many people who get involved in cults were members of another cult, or at least an extremist religion or church. Some people break free altogether - most others, bleating and wayward, find their way to another shepherd to be fleeced. It's how it will always be as long as prey exists.

my uncle and grandpy were both masons, they are both dead i never got to ask them stuff, but my friends dad is the secretary for the local masonic order, this is how he put it "we aren't a secret society, everone knows we exist. We are a society with secrets" he wont' tell us anything , we keep asking LOL, he says they will kick him out and i think we kinda pissed him off last time we bugged him about it LOL. peace man.

Actually, the elder's manual isn't a collection of articles, it is a collection of pronouncements with citations to various Watchower articles, etc as authorities. The book is often jealously guarded from the flock and rank and file members refused permission to see what is says even as they are judged from it.
