Northern Ireland isnt in Britain, Britain is an island, consisting of wales england and scotland, add "Northern Ireland" and you get some joke called "The UK of Great Britain and Northern Ireland".
But mate, I don't wanna get political, and Sinclair is a protestant so he asked to be called British I assume, but I am from Belfast and I am far from a brit. My Irish passport agrees, available to everyone in Northern Ireland.
