1980s cult film "Repo Man" gets an official sequel - in graphic novel form... with a script by original writer/director Alex Cox.

Otto, it would appear, has been held prisoner, in great luxury, on the planet Mars. Now he has returned to earth, and changed his name -- to Waldo...

  • Unfortunately the filmed version of "Waldo's Hawaiian Holiday" was even lower budget than Repo Man and shot on Standard Def video with bad lighting and sound. Repo Man had a first class cinematographer and crew that could make Cox's script shine even on a low budget by Hollywood standards. Repo Man was a fusion of Holy accidents that's why it worked like the original version of Donnie Darko did.

  • Actually, most of the sequel was filmed. It included a libertarian friend of mine named Jim Prindle of the Collin County, TX, Libertarian Party. For those in the know, Alex Cox is incredibly anti-war and very well-educated. Sadly, the plug was pulled due to lack of funding...

  • great trailer! Ill be sure to check out this comic whenever I get the chance

  • If you had watched the credits, you would find that the song is called "La Cervezas Y Las Pistolas" by The Atomic Hep Cats.

  • Now I have a copy in my hot little hands, I can say: The book ROCKS beyond the expectations raised by this trailer (which were high) & Cox would have to be well-pleased with this sequel to Repo Man with it's beautiful, edgy artistry.

  • whats the name and artist to the song in the video?

  • Awesome!
