This is London !!!

AAAA.100137Z APR 2008 I remember during WW2 as a boy listening to all the wireless broadcasts, going out from the BBC being an only child at the time and the severe bombing of Coventry where we lived the only journey out was down to the Mr Gilkes the green grocer or down to the co-op during the whole war..still that was a long time ago...But there was one saying that stuck in my mind and that was `If you want to know the time ask a Policeman`!! Well boys will be boys I retorted back to Mum `Why weve got a clock`!! Having seen all these officers of the law here in London then Paris, and now San Francisco Could one have been bold enough to ask ?? What a muddle...Have a good day anyway put the kettle on the old proverbial saying is a cup of tea cures all ills.......AR.
