The Allegro Orchestra has more than twenty years of well-documented success of serving both our youth and the Hudson Valley community in the performing arts. During that time, our students have performed at the White House on four separate occasions and appeared in concert with members of The New York Philharmonic, Mostly Mozart, Orchestra of St. Luke's, and the Broadway stage. Articles and reviews attest to our students exceptional results (see http://www.allegrofestivals.com/Press...,) and record the dynamic impact Allegro continues to make upon the arts both with its orchestral work and through developing its highly regarded and successful Orange@ series. This clip demonstrates not only the artistry of these young musicians, but also the exceptional talent they have the opportunity to work with. Carmen Nardone is a popular cabaret singer in New York City who recently won the national competition to become the voice for Chock Full O'Nuts Coffee. Founder and Artistic Director Viktoras Prizgintas leads four groups of gifted young aspiring artists who range from the second to 12th grades. The Allegro Youth Orchestras perform often and can be heard either in established concert series in the county, at public malls and museums. Described by Germain Lussier of the Times Herald Record as "...one of our area's most celebrated music groups", the orchestras are gaining recognition throughout the region. It is important to note that the Allegro Orchestra is a component fund of the Community Foundation of Orange County. Tax-deductible Contributions to support the continuing effort of Allegro should be made payable to CFOC/Allegro Orchestra Fund, Box 547, Harriman, NY 10926. The Federal Tax ID number is (06-1551843).
