Psychotherapist and Art Therapist Angelina H. Rodriguez, LPC, ATR-BC is asked by local channel 13, What is Art Therapy? In the interview, Rodriguez, explains that you do not need to be an artist to use art therapy. "It is as simple as doodling, scribbling or even drawing stick figures to help express your emotions, frustrations or anger." Based in Houston, Texas and Licensed by the Texas State Board of Professional Counselors, Angelina works with clients using Art Therapy to help find their authentic selves and resolve fears and unknowns in today's economy and lifestyles.

@yvonne390 there are many different procedures and much like talk therapy the procedures are adapted to the situation and the client's needs. There are many ways in which you can practice pulling from an array of theories such as psychoanalytic, humanistic, cognitive behavior, etc. For more information I recommend taking a look at the American Art Therapy Association's website.
