Alice has recently told Billboard Biz that the album is 75% complete:

"Cooper wouldn't reveal too many details, but says the album is based on a fictional serial killer named Spider, who wraps his victims in a silk web. "Every song is sort of a letter to the police," he explains. "They think they're investigating it from the outside, but he's actually woven them into the whole thing.""

Estimated release date is August 2008.

Well this clears it up. I am gearing to see Alice next week in Athens and I was wondering what was the talk of a new album I saw on the net. I am feeling good, and hope they play some of the new songs here!

i wouldnt mind if he rushed it before the tour. it would still outrock just about all thats out there now. Alice could fart to a G note on c.d. and i would go out and by it. when will the spider come along Alice ???!!!
