Uh, guys, it was changed to Vertigo because "Native Son" is about Leonard Peltier, the murderer. For some reason, some people support freeing him, even though he participated in the murder of 2 FBI agents, and at the time had a warrant out for his arrest for attempted murder of an off-duty police officer. So they made it "Vertigo" because they realized "Oh shit, we messed up."

Makes me want to say: why isn't 21stC U2 as good as Even better than the real thing, or Desire, or Where the streets..? Well, they are/were. But out-commiteed themselves. They are corporate rock now, plc. It's sad, but true. Establishment, safe, souless, second-guessing themselves and making everything worse. Makes you wonder how Actung Baby was ever made. But they were younger then...

Great song. Leaves terrible taste in mouth. Bono was GWB's best friend, so didn't want to have an anti-American government song. No? Well that's sure what it looks like. Then the later version is on an apple ad. Talk about all your hopes and principles going down the toilet. Modern U2 talks none-stop about soul but completely lacks it.

This is so so so so so much better than Vertigo its actually very annoying. I could be listening to this song often but instead we get the crap Vertigo from the abismal HTDAAB. The lyrics are deeper in this one as well. Why the hell did they change it to the simple, crap song we know as Vertigo?
