i leave december 7th for bootcamp and i got a contract for HM. I hope god gives me the strength to fulfill their foot steps

HA Jason M. Castricone (8404) here to tell you that this job is awesome but its scary. I'm only 19 but I get to tell all my high school friends that went to college about what I do and show them pictures and they all get really jealous :P Proud of what me and so many others have done, are doing, and will continue to do.

@dochousemom I'm so sorry for your lost. But I know your heart is filled with pride for your son, he sounds like a great young man and I wish I could have met him. The world needs more men like him, those who put themselves in harms way to help others. God bless.

Thanks for posting this tribute. My son is an FMF Corpsman and will see Afghanistan after the first of the year (2012). Needless to say I will be worried sick about him until he returns. He told me he wants to tag out a Corpsman and send him back home to his family. May God Bless our military, and a special blessing for the DOCS.

Man this video is motovaiting as hell. I just graduated from EMT school last week and im strongly thinking about joining the Navy and doing the whole corpsman thing. Much love and respect for these men and women.

thank you for this beautiful video!! My son, HM3 John D. House,,, KIA 1/26/05... was very proud of being an FMF Corpsman... and loved his Marines.... tragically he was killed with 30 of them on 1/26/05......at times the pain is so overwhelming.. I feel I can't breath....thank you for this beautiful tribute.

I assisted in putting to rest HM3 Mendezaceves. I was an RP3 at the time and an acolyte (altar assistant). The funeral Mass was very emotional even for me and the Chaplain (Lt. Tiongson) I started off as an HM but felt called to the divine.
..I have a special connection with Corpsman..and honor their deep servitude and great help.
The mother screamed and wept as we carried her son away..after we put holy water and incensed his coffin as the Roman Rite calls for...he is with God now........
