This is a recording of Bob Brookmeyer conducting the Big Band of the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival in Germany in 1995.
This band later became his "New Art Orchestra".

  • It seems that daerp agrees with me about Bob Brookmeyer artistic values as being a pianist and a trombonist at the same time.That's great,and I love it.I love Bob's musical compositions for big band and other musical units.Praise the LORD.

  • Yeah. Bob Brookmeyer plays piano, but he is a valve trombonist and one of the great composers of our time.
