I'm a straight paganistic atheist who thinks the entire idea of marriage is moronic. This is a beautiful speech though. Banning gays and lesbians from marriage just seems stupid. I disbelieve in the idea of marriage and yet I don't think it should be illegal for those who do believe to do so. The US (me included) are a bunch of idiots. It's ironically funny in a way seeing the tale of freedom meaning that freedom to do something that harms no one can be taken away by those who do not know you.
