Truth About Mormonism: Part 1

The Mormon Church is uncomfortable discussing it's own history and it has gotten very creative about avoiding the sticky truths in it's past. For instance, Gordon B. Hinkley only "wished" to categorically deny association with polygamy.

Oh.. and they told me my tithings were tax deductible....ok if I earnt enough to lodge a tax form in the first place! I was on government payments which put my measly monies below the tax threshold!

I had no car..so we walked ( my 2 sons) and was given a ticking off for stopping to buy a drink on a sunday! ( it was 36' in summer and the walk was 3 km...is god that anal to judge my spending habits, rewarding myself and my sons a cold drink having sat for 3 hours in service! )

I joined this cult years ago and was bamboozled with so much crap...was sent on single dinners to 'hook' up with a lds male...6 days out of the week were monopolised by this corporation. Was told how to be a good housekeeper for my future husband...Was given a calling to speak to the congregation that this was the true church of J.C. on earth!

I wrote to the bishop that my choice to leave was my free will, or else I could get a restraining order against them.. I am free to be me! Yippee.

Joseph Fielding Smith, 10th prophet of the Mormon church wrote, "But man may commit certain grievous sins - according to his light and knowledge - that will place him beyond the reach of the atoning blood of Christ. If then he would be saved he must make sacrifice of his own life to atone ... for the blood of Christ alone under certain circumstances will not avail".

Core Bible doctrine, which Paul preached, states that only by faith in Jesus Christ, does one receive (not earn) salvation.

I can tell that you didn't do your research well enough even before watching the video, The word mormonism is a completely fake word that anti-mormons made to call us.

we are the church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, or LDS for short. I don't mind being called mormon at all, but I am annoyed when people call it mormonism

Let me also add in incase some of u guys don'tt know this. Which how everyone is acting i beleive u don't. Polygamy was already happen long before Smith was around. It's start with the Greeks & the Middle East like Indin Ect ect. So I don't see why u are blaming the Mormon has if they started it. When they didn't in fact Greeks woman where the ones who had more then one husbands. The tables where turn around in that time. So see............so see chiil and stop blaming the LDS

polygamy ended after Smith dath so they dont have it anymore. Only th FLDS still do polygamy.

polygamy when smith was alive was only done because those woman husband die and the man in the church wanted these woman to feel still love and wanted and safe. I dont agree it myself and I am a LDS but to say we still do it is a joke
