earl is the best player technically but his flaws keep him from being the undisputed best player in the world. his skills are amazing but once he knows and proves he's better, he simply loses interest. not taking anything away from efren, i just believe earl is the best shooter, maybe not the best overall player which includes keeping your emotions in check and staying interested.

@dfd390 yes he won by 3 games BUT he was 17 games behind and earl had about 107 games and efren was back for 17 games !!! Is that telling you anything ??Yes earl was much better in the first 2 and a half days he deserved to win BUT efren reyes played very very well in the last half day and he won.... i don't think that cheating 2-3 times in a race to 120 is changing anything....

@vafidis1988 he won by 3 games, cheating 2-3 times won him 100k. and sharking 70% of the time made earl's lead a 14 at most when it should've been 25-30. earl's the best player and i admire his behave, it takes A HELL FUCKIN LOT OF NERVE to withstand all that sharking, cheating, stupid referee/staff, stupid crowd. these guys arent on earl's level, the best player on earth at the time. this event is a joke and so is efren for his bad antics. I can't believe I didn't see or know about this match until 2011. Oh well, epic. For Earl and Efren to come down to a race to 3 after 200 and whatever games shows there is no clear best in the world. Earl's disability, whatever the hell is wrong with him, cost him the win just as much as efrens game took off at the end. They're both masters and this was epic. Earl reminds me of fast eddie where he had to conquer his demons first before really shining, but earl is getting too old to expect that.
