blew my compressor blades runnning in vta. not only is it bad from our MAF sensors running vta but compressor surge causes vibration in the compressor and slowly vibrates the blades apart over time. i ran in vta for 2months...new turbo and running with the recirc cap in now. just speaking from experience.

So I'm trying to learn a thing or two about the BOV upgrades for the MS3. THis dualport one that turbosmart makes does not dump to atmosphere does it? Keep reading this is not good for these cars. Please educate me!

its actually both recirculative and vent to atmosphere. sort of 50/50. overall its good.

Nice bro. I just installed the Cobb SRI on my new Silver MS3. Trying to save up money for the CPE catted TBE. You thinking about the Cobb AP when it comes out? Should push you into 300 whp range.

it should, but first i will get complete exhaust (downpipe-straight pipe-ghl exhaust) and a front mount and PG Fuel rail, then the AP. that should put me well above my desired 350 WHP
