(Tymon Dogg's fiddle solo here is pretty awesome.)

Live At The Bridgewater Palace Theatre, November 17th, 2002. The band would go on to play four more shows before Strummer's death a month later.

This concert is notable for the airing of several infrequently played songs: Coma Girl, Get Down Moses, 1969 (an Iggy & The Stooges cover), and a somewhat retooled Police & Thieves.

Also, there's nothing I can do about the compression problems with the video. Compression artifacts are inherent to the source, as is the mild high-end audio distortion.

Set List:
-Shaktar Donetsk,
-Bhindi Bhagee,
-Rudie Can't Fail,
-Bummed Out City,
-Yalla Yalla,
-Mega Bottle Ride,
-White Man In Hammersmith Palais,
-Tony Adams,
-1969,
-Get Down Moses,
-Cool 'n' Out,
-Johnny Appleseed,
-Coma Girl,
-I Fought The Law,
-A Message To You, Rudy,
-Police & Thieves,
-Bankrobber,
-London's Burning.

  • One of the best Rock n Roll songs of all time. By arguably the greatest Rock band. Once a generation comes something like this. My god..i count myself so so lucky to have been onboard the rollercoaster ride that was the Clash....17 times i saw them live...from 78 to the last rites in 84. As someone once wrote...."if you dont like the Clash....you dont know anything"

  • GREAT!!!!! Thanks for posting. Wish I could have seen Joe live. R.I.P.

  • Just last week I realized The Clash were now my favourite band of all time, knocking The Beatles from that place...The Clash just meant so much more...about everything.

  • The Clash were such an amazing band, if only Joe hadnt binned Topper and Mick, maybe they could beat those lame ass Beatles.

  • joe = pure energy

  • one of the best clash songs ever. there will never be another band like that

  • I ever loved the Joe ad lives.

  • Tymon is a amazing musician too.

  • Best ever Clash song
