I Love my American automobiles! I grew up with the biggest, most luxurious American cars ever built. And quality models as well. Cadillacs, Buicks, Oldsmobile, Lincoln, Mercury, & Chrysler. Growing up in the 70's and 80's i marveled at some of the most beautiful cars ever made and i would never hate American automobiles. Theres a BMW repair shop in my neighborhood it's called "The Bimmer Shop" and it's always PACKED!

Im suprised how americans can to hate their own cars and to like germany ugly shit.....

I was lucky to get to drive some great cars in my high school days (late 80's). Many big 70's cars were around and very cheap to buy if you werent dirt poor like so many of us were. As an American, I think it is sad that we no longer create such beautiful machines. I respect Japanese and German manufacturers, but my heart belongs to Detroit. I love my Mark V and Continental Town Car, both 79 models. We are a dying breed.

@tassofix Speaking as an American. we are nothing but dumbasses! German cars are beautiful... I don't know why American's want to drive Japanese cars... they make all these excuses about how better they are built, this and that! I don't believe the hype and have used Japanese Cars (not by choice) and I have had a Ford--which was great! American's are just dumbasses who are superficial and want to be cool so they a Japanese junker! Oh well!

@GayUOPXBoy Very strange that american people prefer asian cars.... you were able to build so glamourous , confortable, sexy cars..Here in Europe , germans make very good quality cars but so boring , nothing to do with the charm of a Amc Pacer or Matador, a Buick Electra, a Dodge Royal Monaco ...Ok i know, it's the past...I'm so sad that Americans have lost their passion for automobile. We miss you.

@apollo100 Sue-Ellen drove a few of the Colony Parks and they were so nice and top of the line! Her Mercedes were nice but the Mercurys were pretty nice also! I should of asked Ms. Gray what she thought of them when I met her a few weeks ago!
-
@tassofix Funny you should say that because too many Americans would rather drive Japanese pieces of crap!
