OLTL- Jessica and Cristian are alone kissing at the Vega's and are on their up to Cristian's room when Clint and Carlotta arrive and see them. Clint then forbids Jessica to see Cris outside of school.

I loved Cris and Jess when portrayed by Yorlin and Erin. Even though they dated on and off for a long time IRL they didn't have the right chemistry when it was Erin and David. Bree and David have good chem though.

They were fairly popular for a teen couple back then. When they first got together, everyone was against it because they were from two different worlds.
I think I read somewhere once that OLTL was praised for the interracial pairing.

@mwoodson1 yes they were. They were part of the beginning of the teen scene..actually they were the beginning of the teen scene for OLTL. They were very popular, ppl loved to see innocent Jessica fall in love with bad boy "gangsta" Cris whom is really a sweet & humble guy. Their love story was very popular. Hate how the show is ignoring their history. I hope they'll reunite them.

I was watching back then, and yes they were. Jessica was one of the few well written kids in soap land imo. And this relationship was so strong it felt as if it might have been able to last. Even in the bounds of a soap opera world.
