Stamp Day for Superman is a 1954 black and white short film starring George Reeves as Superman and Noel Neill as Lois Lane. It was produced by Superman Inc. for the U.S. Department of the Treasury to promote the purchase of U.S. Savings Bonds. • Thanks for putting up these Vids!

George Reeves, Was always the real Superman to me, Not even the late Christopher Reeves comes close. Now we have all Sissy boy's Playing the part.

  • I always enjoyed George Reeve's take on Clark Kent. He was the real person and Superman was just his disguise. His Clark Kent wasn't the type that you wanted to miss around with either.

He looked like he could knock you into next week if he was just a regular guy.

  • that's a really nice crook! :D

  • I love the ' S " in shadow on Superman's arm.

  • @fieldsofheaven02 You can see SMALLVILLE's version of Supergirl, now, even though the idiots still haven't actually let Clark be SUPERMAN yet! The WB's animated Superman and Justice League shows had the best version of her so far, though, in my opinion.

Hi there. thanks so much for replying. yes i know. I found out some while back that supergirl was not created until 1959. And you know it sounds silly but there i was watching the series of superman waiting for supergirl to appear and then i found out shw wasn't created until a year after the series had finished. DRATS!
